The Portal Preserve subdivision is 5 miles west of Lone Pine. At the single signal light in town, turn west on Whitney Portal Road, and a beautiful 8 minute drive later you will be welcomed by The Portal Preserve signage on your left. (To be built shortly.)

About 3 miles up Whitney Portal Road you will see Movie Road on the right, and at 4 miles you will see Horseshoe Meadows Road on the left. But stay on Whitney Portal Road for another mile, and Portal Preserve is immediately to your left.

Lone Pine is on located on State Highway 395, 200 miles north of both L.A. and San Bernardino, and 100 miles south of Mammoth Lakes.
