The developer is a family in the inland area of Southern California, "the Walters." It's really Walters & Daughters. Jim is a professor of bioethics who has hiked in the High Sierra for the last 30 years, ever since he moved to Claremont for graduate study (he proudly completed the John Muir Trail in 2009!). Wendy is a biologist at an environmental consulting firm in Riverside. Christina taught fourth grade for six years, and now she and husband, Jay, have baby Kayla (b. 7/09).
